In lieu of starting any new projects before baby arrives, today I spent most of my time hyperfocusing on a Postgres upgrade, software upgrades, and replacing my old Matrix chatbot with one that supports e2ee channels, which involved writing some Python plugins to replace old functionality.
(I'm satisfied but also a little disgusted with myself.)
Disgusted because hyperfocus feels sort of like I'm detaching from the world and it makes me feel kinda guilty, and also very tired after.
But also it's winter of omicron and I'm about to have a baby. What else am I gonna do? At least computers won't make me sick.
