Of late, I've gone down a rabbit hole of podcasts and general internet readings on the threat of fascist white supremacists in the US, and sometimes I feel like a nut about it - like it just doesn't seem to register on most people's radars. It legitimately makes me feel crazy, like I'm no different from some infowars addict, freaking out about some perceived threat that's not as bad as I think.

"At Tuesday's hearing, Jill Sanborn, the head of the FBI's National Security Branch, told lawmakers that the threat posed by domestic violent extremists is "persistent and evolving." The "most lethal threat" from domestic violent extremists, she said, is posed by white supremacists and anti-government militias."
