Today in #Books that Hold Up Surprisingly Well: Sabriel by Garth Nix. I remember aspiring to be as brave and practical as Sabriel (and at half again her age, I think I've gotten there), but last time I was too young to appreciate just how much of a cinnamon roll Touchstone is, and how important it is that the author lets him cry over his trauma.
Nervous about the sequels, but also eager to reread them.
